Things escalated quickly, and the next thing she knew, she was being sexually abused by her husband, which turned into his sex trafficking her.
Healing from sexual abuse is a journey of reclaiming your power, rewriting your story, and embracing your resilience.
Michelle spent many nights crying on the floor of her home, realizing that she was in a very dangerous situation. With fear running through her body, and hope in her heart, she ran for the door and got out. Since then, Michelle has spent years in therapy, working in a profession to support herself, and strengthening her spirit so that she may be the strong Mom that her children needed her to be.
